The Tsert
Templating Engine
(patent pending) is the way our Operating System (OS) handles
most of the interaction with clients, i.e. the Thin::Window,
the UI Browser,
or the Search
Dialog. Your view into the system is
managed by the above mentioned clients.
The Tsert Templating Engine
uses HTML templates stored as full HTML pages or as chunks of HTML in Tsert::OS
configuration files. Our templates have specific features©®
for identifying sources of data and templates, and
targets, in order to render the outgoing information
properly. That information can come from the built-in search-engine,
SQL databases, XML files,
mailboxes, component files, configuration files, code files, etc.
Our templates can contain
other text besides HTML, such as XML, SGML, mailbox, etc.
TheTsert Templating Engine
will be integrated into our Tsert.Com t-script©®
. Developers will like our way better than the XSL way.
Developers will be able to build websites, by just creating
HTML
pages which are used as templates by the engine, and associating them
at a given level into the structure of their website. These
templates must use Tsert::Tags©®
which refer to sources of data, such as XML files, SQL databases,
tables, columns, procedures, mailboxes, variables from the Tsert.Com t-Script©®, etc.
